Reconstituted stone rated A1 for reaction to fire: non-combustible cladding for facades, fences, plinths or feature walls.
MODULO NOMAD ASH 0.72 is a light grey reconstituted-stone wall cladding made in Turda, Romania. Each panel measures 37 x 10 cm with a 1–2 cm profile and works equally well indoors and on exterior walls. One box holds 20 panels and covers 0.76 m² according to Praktiker.
Class A1 to EN 13501-1: non-combustible material
The cladding is classified as non-combustible, so it can also be applied around a fireplace when the substrate is properly insulated. Surface temperature of the substrate must stay below 70 °C.
Mineral pigments that hold their colour in the sun
Colour comes from UV-resistant mineral pigments, and the outdoor range is tested to European freeze-thaw and weathering standards. The light grey tone sits naturally next to concrete, timber and rendered surfaces without extra finishing.
Installed with C2S1 flexible adhesive, 3.5 kg per box
For exterior walls the maker specifies a C2S1 cement-based adhesive such as MODULO Colle Extra Flex. The substrate must be flat, dry and free of dust, paint or wallpaper, and cutting is done with an angle grinder and a diamond blade.
Vertical surfaces: facade, fence, plinth
The panels go onto walls, fences, plinths and other straight vertical surfaces, including insulated facades with a reinforcing mesh. The maker does not recommend floors, ceilings or areas in constant contact with water or steam.
