LIQUI MOLY DOT 4 Brake Fluid, 250 ml
Synthetic DOT 4 fluid with a dry boiling point above 260 °C for confident braking.
LIQUI MOLY DOT 4 Brake Fluid in a 250 ml container is a synthetic fluid based on glycol ethers, polyglycols and glycol ether esters for hydraulic brake and clutch systems. It suits disc and drum brakes as well as vehicles with ABS. The compact 250 ml size covers topping up and bleeding a single brake circuit.
High boiling point keeps pedal feel stable
A dry boiling point above 260 °C keeps LIQUI MOLY DOT 4 stable even when the brakes get hot, for example on a long mountain descent. Special moisture scavengers limit vapour bubbles, the usual cause of a spongy pedal.
Corrosion protection inside the brake system
Inhibitors in LIQUI MOLY DOT 4 protect metal brake components from corrosion and reduce oxidation at elevated temperatures. The fluid lubricates moving parts in the hydraulic circuit and is compatible with rubber seals (elastomers).
Compatibility: DOT 4 and DOT 3 systems, ABS
LIQUI MOLY DOT 4 meets FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4, ISO 4925 Class 3 and Class 4, SAE J 1703 and J 1704, so it fits vehicles specifying a synthetic fluid to these standards, ABS included. It is miscible with other high-quality synthetic brake fluids; always follow the vehicle manufacturer's specification.
Works with any brake bleeding equipment
LIQUI MOLY DOT 4 can be used with all conventional brake bleeding devices, which makes it practical in a home garage and in a workshop alike. Caution: brake fluid attacks paintwork — rinse spills immediately with plenty of water. Do not use in mineral-oil-based central hydraulic systems.
