The STIHL TS 420 petrol cut-off saw runs a 350 mm cutting wheel for road building, utility and landscaping work. Its 3.2 kW engine cuts concrete, stone, asphalt, rebar and metal pipe to a depth of 125 mm. The compact body keeps it usable in narrow trenches and close to walls.

The 350 mm wheel on the STIHL TS 420 reaches 125 mm deep, enough to sever slabs, kerbs and pipes in a single pass. The saw handles concrete, stone, asphalt, rebar and metal.
Water connection for dust control and wheel cooling
The integrated water connection feeds a constant flow onto the wheel of the STIHL TS 420, binding dust and keeping the cutting line visible. The cooling effect also extends wheel life during long cuts.
Cyclone pre-filter for long filter life
The long-life filter system of the STIHL TS 420 separates around 80% of dust particles before the main filter. Power stays stable through the shift and servicing intervals get longer.
Anti-vibration system and ergonomic handle
The anti-vibration system of the STIHL TS 420 keeps hand-arm vibration at 3.9 m/s² left and right. The curved handle guides the saw precisely along the marked line with less fatigue on long cuts.
Easy starting with decompression valve and fuel pump
The decompression valve on the STIHL TS 420 releases part of the compression so the starter cord pulls with less effort. A manual fuel pump shortens starting after longer breaks.
