Single-lever wall mixer with smooth control and an automatic bath/shower diverter.

The GROHE Start bath and shower mixer (art. 32278002) is a single-lever, wall-mounted tap in a chrome finish with a solid metal lever. Its GROHE SilkMove ceramic cartridge sets flow and temperature with one easy movement, while the automatic diverter switches water between the bath spout and the hand shower. It fits the standard 150 mm centre distance, so it drops straight into most replacement jobs.

SilkMove ceramic cartridge for precise temperature

The 35 mm GROHE SilkMove cartridge in the Start mixer keeps lever movement light and effortless year after year. You set temperature and flow with one hand — handy when the other one is holding the hand shower.

Automatic bath/shower diverter with non-return valve

One push sends water from the spout to the hand shower, and the GROHE Start mixer automatically resets to the bath outlet when you turn it off. An integrated non-return valve on the shower outlet protects the supply from backflow.

Tool-light installation with GROHE QuickFix

The GROHE Start set includes eccentric S-unions and escutcheons that hide the wall connections and let you align the tap with existing outlets. With the supplied QuickSpanner you tighten it without extra tools — a real time-saver on a replacement job.

Flow and temperature limiters that save water

An adjustable flow limiter lets you cap how much water the Start mixer delivers, and the temperature limiter stops the lever short of the hottest range — reassuring when children use the bathroom.
