The Ideal Standard Esla BC229AA is a wall-mounted bath and shower mixer with a single lever and a polished chrome finish, made for bathrooms with a tub and a hand shower. An automatic diverter switches the water between the spout and the shower and resets once the tap is closed. It installs on standard S-unions at 150 mm centres.
Automatic bath/shower diverter
The diverter on the Ideal Standard Esla sends water to the hand shower with one movement and returns to the spout as soon as the tap is closed. The next person who turns on the water gets it from the spout, not from above.
Single lever for quick temperature setting
The single-lever control of the Esla mixer sets temperature and flow with one hand — handy when the other is holding the shower. Its ceramic cartridge moves smoothly and stays drip-free in daily use.
Brass body with SmartShine chrome finish
The Ideal Standard Esla body is cast brass with a smooth SmartShine chrome finish that wipes clean with a damp cloth. Its clean, rounded shape suits both a new bathroom and a straight swap for an old mixer.
