The IDEAL STANDARD DOREA bath and shower mixer is a wall-mounted single-lever tap in a chrome finish, made for bathrooms with a tub and a hand shower. An automatic diverter switches the water between the spout and the shower hose, while the metal lever carries a red/blue indicator for the temperature setting. Sold at Praktiker under item no. 227164.
38 mm FirmaFlow+ ceramic cartridge for smooth control
IDEAL STANDARD DOREA uses a 38 mm FirmaFlow+ ceramic cartridge — ceramic discs instead of rubber seals — for a smooth lever action and precise temperature setting. The mixer complies with the EN817 standard for sanitary tapware.
Automatic bath/shower diverter
The DOREA diverter sends water to the hand shower and returns to the bath spout when you turn the tap off, so you never start a bath with a cold shower spray. A built-in check valve protects the plumbing from backflow.
Wall mounting with standard S-connections
Standard S-connections on the DOREA let the mixer absorb small differences in the wall outlet spacing, so it replaces an older tap without breaking tiles. The glossy chrome surface wipes clean with a damp cloth.
Perlator aerator for a soft stream
The Perlator aerator on the DOREA mixes air into the water for a soft, splash-free stream. The tap arrives in a fully cardboard box with no plastic components.
