The GROHE Start Edge 23348001 is a wall-mounted single-lever bath and shower mixer in chrome, with crisp edges that suit any modern bathroom. One metal lever controls both temperature and flow, while the automatic diverter switches the water between the bath spout and the shower. S-unions, metal escutcheons and the GROHE QuickSpanner are supplied in the box.
Automatic bath/shower diverter for instant switching
The GROHE Start Edge mixer routes water to the spout or the hand shower at the push of the diverter knob. When the water is turned off, the diverter resets to bath mode automatically, so the shower never surprises you next time.
35 mm SmoothControl ceramic cartridge for smooth control
Inside the GROHE Start Edge sits a 35 mm GROHE SmoothControl ceramic cartridge that keeps temperature and flow adjustment smooth and precise day after day. The built-in temperature limiter lets you cap the maximum setting — handy in homes with children.
QuickFix installation with the included QuickSpanner
The GROHE Start Edge kit includes the QuickSpanner tool, the S-unions and metal wall escutcheons that cover the wall connections. Replacing an old mixer becomes a job you can finish yourself, without plumbing experience.
Flow limiter and integrated non-return valve
The adjustable flow rate limiter on the GROHE Start Edge helps you cut water use while keeping the shower comfortable. The shower outlet carries an integrated non-return valve that protects the supply line against backflow.
GROHE LongLife chrome finish that stays pristine
The GROHE LongLife chrome finish on the Start Edge resists scratches and tarnishing and wipes clean with a damp cloth. The spout features a mousseur that shapes a soft, even stream when filling the bath.
