The Ideal Standard Ceratherm ALU+ BD582XG is a wall-mounted thermostatic shower mixer with two controls — one for temperature, one for flow. A thermostatic valve holds the temperature you set, while aluminium core elements and a matt black finish suit contemporary bathrooms. It mounts on standard wall outlets via S-couplings and takes a G 1/2 shower hose.
Thermostatic control that keeps your set temperature
The Ceratherm ALU+ thermostat reacts to pressure and supply changes so the water stays at the temperature you chose. Set it once and every shower starts the same, with no juggling of hot and cold.
Two rotary knobs for temperature and flow
Two lateral rotary knobs split the controls: temperature on one side, water volume on the other. You can stop and restart the shower without losing your setting.
Aluminium body with matt black finish
The mixer's core elements are aluminium, finished in matt black with two round escutcheons that cover the wall outlets. Designed by Palomba Serafini Associati, it pairs with the rest of the ALU+ range.
Exposed wall mounting with S-couplings
This is an exposed wall-mounted mixer supplied with S-couplings that absorb small differences in outlet spacing. It works from 0.5 bar upwards, suiting homes on mains or tank-fed supplies.
Compatible with ALU+ and IDEALRAIN shower kits
The G 1/2 hose outlet lets the Ceratherm ALU+ BD582XG work with handsprays, hoses and shower rails from the IDEALRAIN ALU+ range. The mixer is supplied on its own, so the shower kit is chosen separately.
