WURTH Brake Protection 1400: Ceramic Brake Paste, 100 g
Grey, highly adhesive metal-free paste for the moving parts of the brake caliper.
WURTH Brake Protection 1400 is a 100 g ceramic assembly paste for brakes and brake systems. It lubricates, reduces wear and shields components from corrosion, while its high adhesion keeps the film in place. Apply a thin coat with a brush onto pre-cleaned surfaces.
Ceramic formula with no metallic pigments
The compound has a high ceramic content and contains no MoS2, sulphur additives or silicone. It is non-toxic, and the grey shade makes the applied film easy to spot during assembly.
Corrosion protection against seized components
The film stops moving parts from sticking or seizing, and its high pressure resistance keeps their movement smooth with minimal wear. Threaded joints release evenly at the next service.
Brush-on application in a thin layer
Remove dirt first with a wire brush or brake cleaner, then lay down a thin brushed coat: this paste is not applied in grease-like quantities. It is intended for the moving parts of the brake and not for friction surfaces or bearing lubrication.
