The WURTH battery terminal protection spray (150 ml aerosol) coats battery poles, terminal clamps and plug connections with a durable, heat-resistant blue film. The film shields them from corrosion, weather and battery acid. Simply clean and refit the terminals, then apply a thin layer from all sides.
Protection from corrosion, acid and weather
The blue film from the WURTH spray seals battery poles and terminal clamps against moisture, road salt and acid vapour. That keeps the familiar green build-up away, so the connection stays clean every time you open the bonnet.
No transfer resistance, no voltage drop
A clean contact means full voltage reaching the starter and the electronics. The WURTH spray prevents transfer resistance and voltage drops, which extends the working life of the battery.
Temperature resistant from -40 to +120 °C
The film stays stable in winter cold and in a hot summer engine bay alike. The WURTH spray is silicone-free, which also makes it suitable for plug connections in the electrical system.
Apply a thin layer to refitted terminals
Shake the can well, clean the terminals thoroughly, refit them and spray from all sides. Avoid painted surfaces — remove any overspray immediately with a degreaser or brake cleaner.
