Sika Sikasil Universal is a versatile 280 ml silicone sealant for both indoor and outdoor use. This one-component, solvent-free sealant applies easily with a standard caulking gun. It is ideal for glazing and for joints on non-porous surfaces such as glass and glazed ceramics.

Acetoxy silicone for glazing and weathering joints

Sikasil Universal is an acetoxy silicone sealant made for glazing and weather-exposed joints. It bonds firmly to non-porous surfaces such as glass, glazed ceramics and metals. The sealant performs equally well in interior and exterior applications.

High elasticity that follows joint movement

Sikasil Universal is low-modulus and highly elastic, with over 90% elastic recovery. It absorbs movement of up to ±20%, so the joint stays sealed even as elements expand and contract. That makes it a dependable choice around window frames, shopfronts and glazing.

Resistant to shrinkage, cracking and discoloration

Sikasil Universal offers very good resistance to shrinkage, cracking and discoloration over time. It withstands a service temperature from -40 °C to +100 °C, making it suitable for outdoor joints too. The cured joint keeps its appearance and seal long after application.

Easy application and fast skin formation

The 280 ml Sikasil Universal cartridge applies with a standard caulking gun and bonds without a primer on most non-porous substrates. A skin forms in about 15 minutes, shortening the wait for a clean, finished joint. Pair it with a caulking gun from the range for extra precision.
