100% pure silicone with strong adhesion for glass, aluminium and aquariums

Ceresit CS 23 is a one-component, 100% silicone sealant for glass, supplied in a 280 ml cartridge for indoor and outdoor glazing. The sealant bonds firmly to non-porous surfaces such as glass, ceramic tiles, aluminium and metal. It suits aluminium frame glazing, general glaziery, aquarium sealing and window sealing.

100% pure silicone for glass and aquariums

Ceresit CS 23 is a one-component, 100% silicone sealant that seals glass, aquariums and windows with a durable, flexible joint. A skin forms in about 15 minutes, so the joint stops being tacky quickly. Use it for both indoor and outdoor glazing.

Strong adhesion to glass, aluminium and metal

The high adhesion of Ceresit CS 23 keeps the joint attached to non-porous surfaces such as glass, ceramic tiles, aluminium and metal. Non-porous surfaces need no primer, which saves a step in the work. This makes the sealant handy for aluminium frame glazing and general glaziery.

Resistant to UV rays and temperature extremes

Ceresit CS 23 withstands ozone, UV rays and temperature extremes, so it stays stable on exposed windows and facades. The sealant resists ageing, shrinkage, cracking and discolouration, keeping its look over time. The transparent finish blends discreetly into glass and glazed details.

Easy application with a caulking gun

The Ceresit CS 23 cartridge fits a standard caulking gun, and the nozzle is cut at an angle to match the joint width. Apply firmly into the joint and smooth with a damp spatula for a clean finish. Work at an ambient temperature between +5°C and +40°C on clean, dry surfaces.
