Mould-resistant silicone sealant for lasting joints in bathroom and kitchen
Soudal Sanitary Silicone White 280 ml is a high-quality one-component silicone sealant for joints in wet rooms. It cures with air moisture and stays permanently flexible. Ideal for sealing around showers, bathtubs, washbasins and toilets, as well as joints in kitchens and cold stores.
Mould-resistant for clean bathroom joints
Soudal Sanitary Silicone is formulated to resist mould growth on the joint even in constant humidity. The seal around your bath and shower stays clean and attractive for longer. The sanitary formula does not replace regular cleaning of the joint.
Permanently elastic, watertight seal
Once cured, Soudal Sanitary Silicone stays permanently elastic with elongation at break of about 700%, absorbing joint movement without cracking. It withstands temperatures from -60 °C to 120 °C and is UV-resistant. Not recommended for permanent water immersion.
Strong adhesion to ceramics, glass and metal
Soudal Sanitary Silicone bonds very well to ceramic tiles, enamel, glass, wood, galvanised metal and aluminium. Porous surfaces should first be primed with Primer 150. It does not adhere to PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon), bituminous substrates or natural stone.
Easy to apply with a caulking gun
The 280 ml cartridge is applied with a manual or pneumatic caulking gun. A skin forms in about 7 minutes, so smooth the joint with a soapy solution before then. Fresh residue cleans off with white spirit before curing.
