Seals bathrooms and kitchens with lasting protection against mould and mildew.

Sika Sanisil is a one-component acetoxy silicone sealant for sanitary applications, supplied in a 300 ml cartridge. It seals joints in wet areas — around baths, shower enclosures, sinks and worktops — wherever resistance to fungus and mould is needed. Solvent-free and ready to use straight from the cartridge.

Long-term protection against mould and mildew

Sika Sanisil delivers long-term resistance to fungus and mould growth — exactly what keeps bathroom joints looking clean for longer. That makes it ideal for damp zones around baths, showers and sinks.

High elasticity for moving joints

The sealant absorbs joint movement of up to ± 20 % and recovers over 90 % of its shape. The joint therefore stays tight even with thermal expansion and slight vibration in the wet room.

UV and weather resistance for indoor and outdoor use

Sika Sanisil offers very good UV and weather resistance, allowing use both indoors and outdoors. Its service temperature runs from −40 °C to +100 °C, covering a wide range of conditions.

Easy application with a caulking gun

The 300 ml cartridge fits a standard caulking gun and extrudes straight into the joint — no primer needed on most substrates. For crisp lines, use masking tape and remove it before skin formation (about 15 minutes).
