Sika Sanisil Sanitary Silicone Sealant 300 ml, Transparent

Seals kitchens and bathrooms with lasting protection against mould and mildew.

Sika Sanisil is an acetoxy-cure sanitary silicone sealant for joints in bathrooms, kitchens and wet rooms. This one-component, solvent-free sealant resists fungi and mould over the long term. Article 461542 is the transparent version in a 300 ml cartridge.

Long-term protection against mould and mildew

Sika Sanisil keeps bathroom and kitchen joints clean by resisting fungi, mildew and mould. That makes it ideal around baths, showers, sinks and worktops exposed to constant moisture. Its transparent finish blends discreetly with any tile or surface.

Elastic sealant with ±20% joint movement

Sika Sanisil stays flexible and elastic, absorbing joint movement of up to ±20% without cracking. This ensures a tight seal even where surfaces expand and contract. The sealant tools easily for straight, clean lines.

UV resistance for indoor and outdoor use

Sika Sanisil withstands UV light and weathering, so it also suits exterior sanitary joints. The ready-to-use, one-component formula cures with atmospheric moisture. The finished joint performs across a service range of −40 °C to +100 °C.

Easy application with a caulking gun

Sika Sanisil loads into a standard caulking gun and extrudes straight into the joint. The substrate must be clean, dry and sound; the sealant bonds without primer to most surfaces. One 300 ml cartridge covers roughly 3 m of a 10×10 mm joint.
