Mould-resistant acetic silicone for bathrooms, kitchens and wet areas
MAPEI Mapesil AC is a pure acetic, highly elastic sanitary silicone for sealing joints around ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, glass and swimming pools. This 310 ml cartridge comes in the Manhattan shade and applies easily with a standard sealant gun. It suits both interior and exterior use in damp environments.
Mould protection for wet areas
MAPEI Mapesil AC resists mould and mildew, keeping joints clean around sinks, baths and showers. The sealant forms a waterproof, elastic barrier in constantly damp conditions. It is ideal for bathrooms, kitchens and swimming pools.
High elasticity and strong adhesion
Mapesil AC accommodates up to 25% joint movement without cracking as materials expand and contract. The sealant bonds excellently to glass, ceramic and painted surfaces. This keeps the seal tight even through temperature swings.
Easy application with a sealant gun
The 310 ml cartridge fits a standard sealant gun for precise beading. Mapesil AC forms a skin in about 10 minutes, leaving time to tool the joint. The sealant is solvent-free with very low emissions (EMICODE EC1 Plus).
