Ceresit CS 15 Express is a one-component acetoxy sanitary silicone in a 280 ml cartridge that cures on contact with atmospheric moisture. It is made for sealing joints in bathrooms, kitchens and other wet rooms where resistance to mould is essential. The sealant bonds well to non-porous surfaces such as glass, ceramic tiles, anodised aluminium and metal.
Mould resistance for wet rooms
Ceresit CS 15 Express is formulated for hygienic sealing in bathrooms, shower enclosures and kitchens, where moisture encourages mould and mildew. The sealant keeps joints clean and sound over a long period. It suits joints around sinks, bathtubs and ceramic tiles.
Fast curing and water resistance
Its moisture-triggered curing makes Ceresit CS 15 Express resistant to water contact after about 1 hour, so the job is finished sooner. The cured joint is watertight and withstands extreme temperatures. This keeps the seal tight even under frequent splashing and temperature swings.
Smooth, glossy finish without priming
Ceresit CS 15 Express extrudes easily and leaves a smooth, glossy surface that complements glazed tiles. It bonds without a primer to glass, ceramics, painted surfaces and anodised aluminium. The formula is solvent-free.
Easy application with a caulking gun
The cartridge is ready to use with a standard manual or pneumatic caulking gun. Cut the nozzle at roughly 45° to match the joint width, fill the seam and smooth it with soapy water. No pre-treatment of the silicone is required.
