TKK SEAL 1600 °C is a high-temperature fire-resistant sealant for stoves, chimneys, ovens and sealing around pipes, rated for heat up to 1600 °C. It bonds without a primer to concrete, aluminium, fireclay brick, glass, steel and iron. Supplied in a 300 ml cartridge, black.
Heat resistance to 1600 °C for stoves and chimneys
Rated from -20 °C to 1600 °C, TKK SEAL 1600 °C suits stoves, cookers, chimneys and sealing around piping. The sealant is non-flammable and non-combustible, so it stays put exactly where ordinary sealants fail.
Stops fire, smoke and gases from spreading
TKK SEAL 1600 °C prevents fire, smoke and gases from spreading through the sealed joints. The compound is odourless and asbestos-free, making it comfortable to use both indoors and outdoors.
Excellent adhesion without a primer
Excellent adhesion to concrete, aluminium, fireclay brick, glass, steel and iron is achieved with no primer. TKK SEAL 1600 °C does not slump in vertical joints, keeping application clean and precise.
Easy application with a caulking gun
The 300 ml cartridge is dispensed with a standard caulking gun, with the nozzle cut to the joint width. TKK SEAL 1600 °C cures in 24 hours and can then be heated gradually; rinse tools with water right after use.
