Sika BlackSeal BT is a one-component butyl-rubber sealant for sealing, bonding and repairing roofs, walls and other parts of buildings. It comes ready to use straight from the cartridge and adheres to most construction materials without a primer. The 300 ml cartridge fits any standard sealant gun for quick, controlled application.

Bonds to most building materials without a primer

Sika BlackSeal BT adheres to a wide range of construction materials and needs no primer beforehand. That removes an extra step and saves time when repairing roofs, sheet metal, concrete and masonry. The sealant is ready to use straight from the cartridge.

Applies even on damp surfaces

Sika BlackSeal BT can be applied to damp substrates, making it suitable for emergency outdoor repairs when the weather is unpredictable. The sealant is designed for exterior sealing, bonding and repair of roofs and walls.

High solids content — fills without shrinking

Sika BlackSeal BT is formulated with a high solids content of around 85 %, giving excellent gap and crack filling with no shrinkage. Its black colour blends discreetly into bitumen and metal roof repairs.

Performs from −20 °C to +70 °C

Once cured, Sika BlackSeal BT withstands a service temperature range of −20 °C to +70 °C for year-round reliability. The material becomes tack-free about 25 minutes after application. It cannot be overpainted and is not suitable for underwater joints or joints around pools.
