The DeWALT DCE800XW2-QW is a professional cordless drywall sander built for finishing plasterboard joints, filler and skim coats on walls and ceilings. It comes as a ready-to-work kit with two 18V XR 8.0 Ah batteries and a fast charger.
Head-mounted brushless motor, no cord to drag
The motor sits right in the sanding head and runs on an 18V XR battery. Its brushless design delivers longer runtime per charge and consistent speed under load. You move freely around the site with no extension leads to manage.
Telescopic shaft from 1.25 to 1.6 m for ceilings and high walls
Shaft length can be changed quickly without switching the sander off. The articulating head follows the surface and keeps the disc flat as the working angle changes. The extraction hose exits from the side of the head, keeping your view of the work area clear, even in tight spots.
AirLock dust extraction with Wireless Tool Control
The AirLock connection attaches the hose to compatible DeWALT dust extractors in one move. A ventilated backing pad paired with mesh sanding discs pulls dust straight off the surface. Wireless Tool Control lets the sander switch a compatible DeWALT extractor on and off automatically.
Variable speed dial and lock-on trigger
A speed dial sets the disc speed up to 1200 rpm to suit the material: lower for fresh filler, higher for hardened joints. The lock-on trigger removes the need to hold the switch during long runs across large surfaces. The 225 mm discs attach with hook and loop and change in seconds.
