VALBERG FRS 49 CH Fire-Resistant Safe with Changeable Mechanical Code and Key
Dual locking — a changeable-code mechanical combination lock plus a key lock.
The VALBERG FRS 49 CH fire-resistant safe protects documents, contracts and valuables from fire and forced entry. Body and door are double-walled and filled with fire-resistant concrete, and opening requires both the dialled code and the key. Two keys are supplied.
Changeable code you set yourself
The combination lock is fully mechanical and works without batteries or electronics. The code can be reset when staff change or once someone else has learned the combination, while the key lock remains a second, independent layer of access.
Fire resistance certified to EN 15659 (ECB•S)
Fire-resistant concrete is cast between the two walls of the body and the door, slowing heat transfer to the contents. The LFS classification under this standard covers protection of paper documents in a fire.
95 mm thick door, 46 kg overall weight
The heavy build makes the safe hard to carry off and the door hard to force. The 382 x 257 x 296 mm interior takes document folders, small electronics and valuables.
Steel body with powder-coated finish
Powder coating resists scratching and humidity in unheated rooms such as storerooms and archives. The safe is intended to stand on the floor or on a solid base in an office or home.
