The volume takes the bark-and-moss substrate that phalaenopsis need when repotted. The 17 cm diameter leaves the roots room to spread without pressing against the walls.
Saucer included, so sills stay dry
Run-off after watering collects in the saucer and can be poured away instead of sitting around the roots. There is no self-watering reservoir, so the watering rhythm stays entirely up to you.
