The BOSCH Professional GSA 185-LI Solo is an 18 V trade-grade reciprocating saw driven by a BITURBO brushless motor. It cuts wood up to 230 mm and metal up to 150 mm, ideal for demolition, pruning and rough cuts on site. Supplied Solo — without battery or charger — so you can run it on your existing Bosch Professional 18V packs.
BITURBO brushless motor with corded-class power
The BITURBO brushless motor in the GSA 185-LI delivers cutting power equal to a 1100 W corded reciprocating saw. With no brushes to wear out, the tool runs longer and lasts longer. It powers confidently through thick beams and metal profiles with no mains socket in sight.
230 mm cutting depth in wood
The GSA 185-LI cuts wood up to 230 mm and metal profiles and pipes up to 150 mm. That range covers most demolition and rough construction cuts in one pass. A 28 mm stroke length drives the blade fast into the material.
Toolless blade change in seconds
The toolless snap-in function lets you swap the blade one-handed in seconds. Switch between wood and metal blades without breaking your workflow. It is a real time-saver when working at height or in tight spaces.
Bosch Professional 18V system — one battery for every tool
The GSA 185-LI runs on any battery from the Bosch Professional 18V system. Use the packs and charger you already own instead of buying new ones. This Solo version ships without battery or charger.
