Rail-guided plunge cutting with variable speed for wood, panels, aluminium and acrylic glass.
The BOSCH Professional GKT 55 GCE is a corded plunge saw built for precise format cuts in boards and panels. It cuts 57 mm deep at 90° and 42 mm at 45°, with a bevel range from -1° to 47°. It runs on Bosch, Festool, Mafell and Makita guide rails and connects to dust extraction via Click & Clean.
3,600 – 6,250 rpm to match the material
A thumbwheel sets the speed for solid timber, laminated board, aluminium or acrylic glass. Constant Electronic holds the selected speed under load, keeping edges free of burn marks and chipping.
Works with Bosch, Festool, Mafell and Makita rails
The saw tracks along a guide rail for dead-straight cuts across the full length of a panel, including fitted worktops and floors. If you already own a rail system, there is no need to replace it.
Click & Clean dust extraction for indoor work
The integrated dust outlet connects straight to an extractor, capturing chips right at the blade. The noise-reduced blade makes work in occupied rooms far more tolerable.
Soft start, overload protection and spindle lock
Soft start limits kickback at switch-on, while the electronics protect the motor if the blade binds in the material. The spindle lock turns a blade change into a seconds-long job with a single key.
4.7 kg and a 3.9 m cable for on-board work
The 310 x 240 mm baseplate gives stable support on the rail and on free-standing panels. The long cable still reaches the socket when you are cutting in the middle of a large room.
