The MAKITA SG1251J wall chaser is a professional 1400 W electric tool for cutting grooves in concrete, brick and masonry when installing cables and pipes. It runs two Ø125 mm diamond blades at once, so it shapes both walls of the channel in a single pass. The set includes a carrying case and two blades.
Ready-made channel for cables and pipes in one pass
The MAKITA SG1251J cuts with two parallel diamond blades at the same time, forming a clean channel with parallel walls. The adjustable width from 6 to 30 mm lets the groove match exactly the cable or pipe you install.
Adjustable depth up to 30 mm
Channel depth adjusts from 0 to 30 mm to suit the size of the installation. One machine therefore covers both shallow cable runs and deeper grooves for piping.
Super Joint System guards against kickback
The SJS (Super Joint System) releases the blades if they suddenly jam, absorbing the shock instead of the operator and the gearbox. This improves working safety and extends the life of the mechanism in hard materials.
1400 W for professional use
The MAKITA SG1251J motor delivers 1400 W and 10,000 rpm at no load — ample reserve for continuous work in concrete and masonry. The tool is designed for professional use on construction sites.
