57 mm cutting depth with the freedom of 18V cordless power
The Makita DSS611Z is a compact 18V LXT cordless circular saw with a 165 mm blade for cutting timber and boards without a cable. It ships as a bare tool without battery or charger, running on your existing Makita LXT 18V batteries. It cuts up to 57 mm deep and handles bevel cuts up to 50°.
Up to 57 mm cutting depth for boards and panels
The 165 mm blade on the Makita DSS611Z cuts up to 57 mm on a straight cut — enough for beams, planks and thick panels in a single pass. At 45° the depth is 40 mm, covering most on-site woodworking jobs.
Bevel cuts up to 50° with an aluminium base
The saw tilts through a 0–50° bevel range so you can cut chamfers and mitred joints without extra jigs. A rigid aluminium base sits flat on the workpiece and guides the cut accurately along the line.
18V LXT cordless power, no cable
The Makita DSS611Z runs on Makita LXT 18V Li-ion batteries — the same packs that power the whole LXT platform, so you share batteries across your tools. It ships as a bare tool (no battery or charger) and spins at 3700 rpm no-load for a clean cut.
Lightweight body for one-handed work
At just 2.4 kg for the bare body, the Makita DSS611Z is easy to control during long cuts and overhead work. The ergonomic grip and large locking lever make depth adjustment quick and comfortable.
