The DeWALT DCS565N-XJ is an 18V cordless circular saw for professional use, built around a brushless motor and a Ø165 mm blade. It cuts up to 55 mm at 90°, making it ideal for boards, cladding and framing timber. Supplied as a bare tool without battery or charger, it runs on DeWALT 18V XR Li-ion packs.
Brushless motor for longer tool life
The brushless motor of the DeWALT DCS565N-XJ spins at 4950 rpm no-load for fast, clean cuts. Less internal friction means longer tool life and more cuts per charge.
Cutting depth up to 55 mm
The Ø165 mm blade cuts up to 55 mm at 90° and about 42 mm at 45°, covering standard framing timber. Bevel adjusts to 50° for angled cuts without extra jigs.
Worklight and electronic brake
An onboard LED lights up the cut line in poor visibility, while the electronic brake stops the blade quickly after releasing the trigger for safer handling. A rafter hook keeps the saw within reach on scaffolding or a beam.
Works with DeWALT 18V XR batteries
The DeWALT DCS565N-XJ ships as a bare tool and runs on any DeWALT 18V XR Li-ion battery. If you already own the DeWALT platform, you add the saw without paying again for batteries.
