Hot water the moment you open the tap, with no tank and no waiting.
The ELDOM E42 instantaneous water heater warms water as it flows through the unit and mounts right above the sink in kitchens and rooms with no hot-water supply. It arrives fully equipped with a ceramic-cartridge mixer tap, power cord and Schuko plug, so no extra parts are needed.
Heats on demand, with no standby losses
There is no storage vessel keeping water hot between uses. Power is drawn only while the tap runs, and the energy label states 482 kWh per year at the XXS load profile.
Mixer tap with ceramic cartridge included
The metal tap has an ergonomic lever and a ceramic mechanism that keeps its smooth action and tight seal over years of use. There is no need to buy a separate mixer or hoses.
Over-sink installation in minutes
The heater connects straight to the cold-water pipe at the point of use, and the 232 x 145 x 85 mm body fits above even a narrow kitchen sink. It runs off a standard single-phase socket via the supplied Schuko cord.
Four protection stages and IP24 rating
A factory-set thermostat limits water temperature, while a separate system prevents the element from switching on if pressure drops or the supply stops. The housing carries an IP24 splash rating and all metal parts are earthed.
Open-outlet type: what to know before buying
This model works only with its own tap and must not be connected to a pressurised system or a third-party mixer. An illuminated moisture-protected switch shows at a glance when heating is on.
