Liquid treatment for hard water that stops limescale from settling on pool walls.
GRE 95133 Anti-Calc is a 1000 ml liquid pool treatment made for hard-water areas. It is diluted in water and added straight to the pool, working as a metal sequestrant that binds dissolved iron and copper before they stain the water or the walls.
Protection against limescale in hard water
The treatment keeps calcium salts in solution, so no white crust builds up on walls, ladders or the pool floor. It matters most where mains water comes in with high hardness.
Iron and copper sequestrant against stains and corrosion
Bound metals stay in the water and leave through the filter instead of settling as brown or greenish stains. The pool's metal fittings are protected from corrosion at the same time.
Cleaner filtration, fewer blockages
Scale and metal oxides normally clog filter sand and pipework. Regular dosing keeps flow through the filtration unit steady and stretches the interval between backwashes.
Dosing based on water hardness
Initial treatment uses roughly 2 l per 100 m³ of water, with a weekly maintenance dose of 1.5–2 l per 100 m³. Very hard or warm water calls for a higher dose.
