LIQUI MOLY Klima Refresh is an aerosol treatment for vehicle air conditioning systems and interiors that removes unpleasant odours caused by bacteria and mould in the ducts and on the evaporator. The 75 ml can is triggered once and empties on its own while you wait outside the car.
Targets the source of the smell
Mould and bacteria thrive on the damp evaporator and inside the ventilation ducts — the usual source of that musty blast when the AC starts. The aerosol mist reaches these surfaces and leaves a fresh scent in the cabin.
Use without removing the filter
Shake the can, place it in the recirculation air intake area — usually the front passenger footwell — and press the spray head with the windows shut. Open the doors after 10 minutes, switch off the engine and air out the interior for about 10 minutes. Nobody may stay inside the car during spraying.
Set the AC before you spray
Run the engine, set the temperature control to cold, direct the airflow to the windscreen at maximum output and switch to recirculation. On vehicles fitted with an ioniser, turn that function off beforehand.
