The DREMEL VersaTip 2000-7 gas soldering iron runs on liquid butane, so you can solder on the balcony, in the garden or anywhere without a power socket. Seven included attachments turn the VersaTip into a soldering iron, pyrography pen, hot knife and hot-air source for home repairs and craft projects.

Cordless butane power — work anywhere

The DREMEL VersaTip runs on ordinary lighter gas that is easy to find anywhere. Refilling takes just seconds, and with no cord you can work up a ladder, outdoors or far from the nearest socket.

7 attachments for soldering, pyrography and hot cutting

The kit includes a soldering tip, hot cutting knife, shaping knife, pyrography tip, wide flame head, hot-air tip and deflector. One tool therefore covers six different jobs, from soldering a wire to wood burning and shrinking heat-shrink tubing.

Adjustable 550–1200 °C for different materials

Flame size and temperature adjust to the task, so delicate soldering and coarse heating both come from the same tool. With an open flame the VersaTip is ready instantly, and about 25 seconds with a tip fitted.

Piezo ignition and flame lock for longer tasks

An integrated piezo trigger lights the tool without a lighter or matches, while a safety lock prevents accidental ignition. The flame lock keeps it burning steadily for projects that need sustained heat, up to 90 minutes per fill.
