The Makita DCG180ZB is an 18V LXT cordless caulking gun built for professional work with 600 ml cartridges, sausage packs and bulk sealants. Electronic feed control keeps the bead even when sealing windows, facades or sanitary joints. Supplied as a bare tool — battery and charger are not included.
5,000 N push force handles thick sealants
The DCG180ZB delivers up to 5,000 N of feed force, so it pushes cold, stiff silicone and construction adhesives with ease. The bead starts instantly and runs without breaks along long joints.
Variable feed speed of 0–28 mm/s
A speed dial plus a variable-speed trigger let you match the flow to the joint width. Low settings suit visible sanitary beads, higher settings speed up long runs of sealant.
Anti-drip function stops run-on after release
When the trigger is released the plunger retracts and residual sealant stops flowing. Work stays clean and material is not wasted between joints.
LED job light and overload indicator
A built-in LED lights the bead line in shafts, cabinets and dim rooms. An indicator warns of overload, while the battery protection system safeguards tool and pack under heavy load.
Works with Makita 18V LXT batteries
The caulking gun runs on Makita 18V LXT Li-Ion packs from 1.5 Ah to 6.0 Ah, including BL1830B, BL1850B and BL1860B. If you already own LXT tools, simply slide in a battery you have and start.
