The MAKITA DCG180Z cordless caulking gun runs on 18V LXT batteries and takes standard 300 ml cartridges. Built for professional sealing work — windows, sanitary joints, façades and construction bonding. Supplied as a tool only, so it slots straight into an existing 18V LXT battery platform.
5000 N feed force handles thick, high-viscosity sealants
The DCG180Z pushes silicone, acrylic and polyurethane adhesives with up to 5000 N, so even cold or stiff material flows evenly. Long runs of sealant no longer tire your hand — the motor does the pressing.
Variable flow control by dial and trigger
A speed dial pre-sets the flow rate and the trigger fine-tunes it on the spot. The caulking gun lays a thin sanitary bead or a wide façade joint with the same precision.
Anti-drip function stops sealant oozing
When you release the trigger, the DCG180Z removes the residual pressure inside the cartridge so material stops seeping out. The work area stays clean and sealant consumption stays predictable.
360° rotating holder for corners and overhead work
The cartridge holder rotates a full 360°, letting you aim the nozzle at the right angle without twisting your wrist. A rubberised soft grip keeps the tool steady through long sessions.
Works with Makita 18V LXT batteries
The DCG180Z runs on Makita 18V LXT Li-Ion batteries (BL1815–BL1860B) and ships as a tool only, without battery or charger. Owners of LXT tools simply reuse the packs they already have.
