T-CUT THK001 Headlight Restoration Kit
Clears hazy, scratched headlights by hand — no drill, no dismantling.
The T-CUT THK001 headlight restoration kit pairs a cutting polish with a protective sealant for plastic, acrylic and glass lenses that have gone yellow or scratched. The whole job is done by hand with two microfibre cloths, with the headlight still on the car. It suits vehicles whose lenses have clouded under UV exposure and lost beam clarity.
Polishing compound that cuts back the yellowed layer
The compound goes on with a microfibre cloth in circular motions, one headlight at a time, then the residue is wiped away with a second clean cloth. The formula targets uncoated plastic lenses, removing fine abrasions and haze. It is not intended for windows or windscreens.
Sealant that holds off fresh yellowing
The second step seals the freshly polished surface against sunlight, rain and bird lime. The formula bonds to the lens in a single application and slows down oxidation and fading.
Hand application or machine work at 1000–1800 rpm
By hand, two microfibre cloths are enough — one to apply, one to buff off. With a dual-action or rotary polisher, the compound goes onto a medium polishing pad and is worked in small overlapping sections. Wash and dry the lens first and mask the surrounding paintwork before you start.
