Permanently elastic bonding and sealing on almost any building material.
TKK MS40 Flexible Seal & Bond is an MS-polymer hybrid adhesive and sealant for permanently elastic bonding and sealing of masonry, stone, ceramics and wood. It works even on damp surfaces, indoors and out. Supplied in a 300 ml cartridge for a standard sealant gun.
Strong adhesion to most materials
TKK MS40 grips firmly to concrete, brick, wood, aluminium, iron, stainless steel, copper and many plastics. One product covers the joint between mixed materials in repairs and installations. It bonds where ordinary silicones let go.
Elastic bond that absorbs movement
The hybrid sealant stays permanently flexible, so it absorbs vibration and expansion without cracking. It suits joints and structures exposed to movement. Shrinkage on curing stays below 1%, keeping the bead clean and stable.
Works on damp surfaces, inside and out
MS40 adheres even to moist substrates, making work in bathrooms, kitchens and outdoors easier. The cured sealant resists weathering, UV light and ageing and does not cause corrosion. It can be overpainted with most epoxy, polyurethane and water-based paints.
Neutral formula, solvent- and isocyanate-free
TKK MS40 is chemically neutral and odourless, with no solvents, isocyanates or silicone. It carries the EMICODE EC 1+ rating for very low emissions, so it is well suited to enclosed living spaces. It is also recommended for joints in rooms prone to mould.
