Hybrid MS adhesive-sealant that bonds and seals even on damp surfaces.
TKK TEKAFLEX MS 40 is a hybrid MS-polymer sealant-adhesive for permanently elastic bonding and sealing of most building materials, metals and plastics. It comes in a 600 ml sausage pack in white. The compound bonds even on damp surfaces, withstands UV light and weathering, and can be painted over.
Hybrid MS polymer that bonds and seals in one
TKK TEKAFLEX MS 40 combines an adhesive and an elastic sealant in a single product. It bonds concrete, brick, stone, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, EPS board and many plastics. The compound is solvent-, isocyanate- and silicone-free, chemically neutral and odourless.
Strong adhesion even on damp surfaces
The sealant applies and grips well even on moist substrates, saving waiting time on site. It does not slump in vertical joints and delivers good output even at low temperatures.
UV- and weather-resistant, paintable
TKK TEKAFLEX MS 40 resists UV light, ageing and weathering and does not cause corrosion, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor joints. Once cured, the sealant can be painted with most epoxy-, polyurethane- and water-based paints and varnishes.
For joints, kitchens, roofs and vibrating structures
The sealant suits bonding window sills and slats, mounting kitchen elements, gluing boards and roof tiles, and structures exposed to vibration. It is also recommended for sealing joints in rooms prone to mould. The optimal joint width is between 6 mm and 20 mm at a width-to-depth ratio of 2:1.
