One product for both flexible bonding and sealing — indoors and outdoors
Ceresit FT 101 is a multipurpose black sealant-adhesive in a 280 ml cartridge that combines bonding and sealing in a single product. Built on Flextec® technology, it cures through reaction with air humidity. It applies easily with a standard caulking gun and bonds to a wide range of building materials without primer.
Bonds and seals in one product
Ceresit FT 101 acts as both adhesive and flexible sealant, saving you from carrying several products on site. It suits installing window sills, floor skirtings, tiles, cover panels and joining elements. It also fills expansion joints and cracks in floors and walls.
Strong adhesion without priming
The excellent instant grab of FT 101 sticks to most building surfaces without a primer — metal, wood, stone, plasters and prefabricated parts. It even bonds on damp surfaces without forming bubbles, and is suitable for natural stone too.
Flexible joint with 20% movement
The Flextec® technology keeps the Ceresit FT 101 joint elastic, with 20% movement capacity, so it absorbs shocks and vibration. This protects joints on stairs, balconies and terraces from cracking as the structure moves. Once fully cured, the surface can be painted and sanded.
Clean application with a standard gun
Ceresit FT 101 flows easily from the gun even at low temperatures and forms no strings, giving a clean finish near wood, parquet and textured surfaces. It contains no silicone, solvents or hazardous isocyanates. Full cure takes 24 to 48 hours at +23°C for a 2–3 mm bead.
