The Soudal Soudafix VE400-SF chemical anchor is a two-component injectable resin for securely fixing threaded rods and rebar in concrete and masonry. It is applied with a gun through a static mixer and cures without expansion force, so it can be set close to structural edges. The anchor suits heavy loads, overhead installation and repair filling.
Vinylester resin for high loads
Soudafix VE400-SF is based on a vinylester resin that forms a strong chemical bond in cracked and non-cracked concrete. The formula carries ETA option 1 approval, making it suitable for structural load-bearing fixings. The bond spreads the load along the full depth of the hole instead of expanding the base material.
Fixing in concrete, masonry and rebar
The anchor holds threaded rods M8–M30 in concrete and M8–M16 in masonry, plus rebar Ø8–Ø32. It works in solid and hollow building materials, including 18 types of brick. A single cartridge therefore covers a wide range of construction and installation jobs.
Fast curing and overhead application
Soudafix VE400-SF cures fast and does not sag, allowing overhead and vertical application. Its high chemical resistance and R120 fire resistance rating extend its use in demanding environments. The two components mix automatically as they pass through the static mixer.
