The VODALAND FPIP320523 frost protection cover is a 3.2 x 5 m white non-woven garden fleece laid straight over vegetables, strawberries and young plantings. Made from UV-stabilised polypropylene, it lets in sunlight and rain while keeping insects and birds off the crop.

Frost cover rated to -5 °C

The non-woven sheet traps warmth around the plants during early spring and late autumn cold snaps. Spread it straight over the crop right after planting out.

UV-stabilised polypropylene that breathes

The fabric admits sunlight and rainwater in proportions that keep a favourable microclimate and even out humidity underneath. UV stabilisation limits the effect of ultraviolet light on tender foliage.

Earlier flowering plus a pest barrier

The steadier temperature under the fleece brings flowering and ripening forward and extends the cropping period. The closed surface minimises contact between plants and both insect pests and birds.
