GRE CIPROV1001 Winter Pool Cover for 1000x500 cm Pools
Closes the pool for winter and keeps the water clean until next season.
The GRE CIPROV1001 winter pool cover is made for large oval above-ground pools and overlaps the pool edge with room to spare. It is built from 120 g/m² polyethylene sheeting with a central drain opening for rainwater, and ships with a plastic-coated steel cable and adjustable tensioner.
Light-blocking sheet stops algae growth
The dark underside of the cover keeps sunlight off the water and halts algae development during the months when the filter is off. Spring start-up begins with clearer water and less chemistry.
Steel cable and tensioner hold the cover down
The plastic-coated cable runs around the perimeter of the sheet and the tensioner pulls it tight against the pool wall. A properly tightened cover will not bunch up or lift in the wind.
Central drain opening for rainwater
Rain and melting snow drain through the middle instead of pooling into a heavy pocket on the sheet. Leaves, dust and insects stay out of the pool, so opening day takes far less cleaning.
