COMPO SANA seed starting and herb soil is a specialist mix for sowing seeds, rooting cuttings and growing on young plants. The 20 L bag covers a full batch of seed trays, windowsill boxes and potted herbs.
Root activator for a fast start
Young plants build a denser root system in the first weeks after germination. Transplanting into the garden or a larger pot is then far less stressful for them.
Perlite-loose structure that keeps roots aerated
The mix contains perlite and will not compact inside narrow seed-tray cells. Fine seedling roots push through easily while surplus water drains away instead of stagnating.
Even moisture with no dry pockets
An added wetting agent spreads water through the whole container, even once the surface has dried out. You water less often and every seed sits in equally moist soil.
Use it for seeds, cuttings, herbs and greens
A lightly fertilised mix, exactly what germinating seeds and delicate cuttings need. It also suits basil, thyme, parsley and other kitchen herbs grown in pots.
