LAKTOFOL BOTANIKA Citrus Substrate 5 L is a ready-mixed soil for planting and repotting indoor and greenhouse citrus — lemon, mandarin, lime and orange. The blend uses 100% natural ingredients: peat, coconut and wood fibre, compost, perlite and zeolite.
Zeolite acts as a nutrient reservoir
Zeolite in the LAKTOFOL BOTANIKA citrus substrate holds nutrients and releases them gradually to the roots. The soil stays evenly enriched, so your citrus keeps feeding between waterings.
Perlite holds moisture and cuts watering frequency
The perlite particles absorb up to 20 times their own weight in water and release it slowly. Citrus plants need watering far less often — handy when you are away from home for a few days.
Balanced structure for good drainage
Peat plus coconut and wood fibres keep the mix loose and airy. Excess water drains away, roots breathe and spread, and flowering and fruit set are more abundant.
Clean mix, free of pests and pesticides
The substrate is made from ecologically clean raw materials and carries no pests or disease agents. It contains no inert fillers, pesticides or toxic substances — a safe choice for home-grown fruiting plants.
Extra feeding for a long growing season
The NPK starter fertiliser in the mix supports plants after repotting. For a longer growing season, top up every 2–3 weeks with a dedicated liquid citrus fertiliser as the plant requires.
