KEKKILÄ Professional Peat BIO 280 L is a substrate made of 100% brown peat harvested in Finnish peatlands. The 280-litre bale covers a whole batch of container plants, seedling work and the acidification of garden beds.
Airy structure that never waterlogs
The loose structure keeps air moving around the roots and guards against rot. Irrigation water drains away instead of standing in the pot.
pH 4.1–4.5 for rhododendrons, azaleas, blueberries and hydrangeas
This acidity is the natural medium for such crops and needs no extra acidifier. The substrate is approved for organic growing.
0–40 mm fraction for long-term container planting
Coarse particles hold the volume of the mix and resist compaction under frequent watering. An EC of 0.4 mS/cm leaves you free to fertilise exactly as each crop requires.
