The LAKTOFOL BOTANIKA peat mix is a natural growing medium for herbs and microgreens in pots, window boxes and seed trays. Its homogeneous texture gives seeds an even bed for germination, while the balanced pH supports the flavour and nutritional quality of the harvest.
Five natural components in one blend
The blend combines 30% peat, 30% coconut fibre, 20% compost, 10% perlite and 10% pumice. Coconut fibre and pumice keep the structure loose and airy, while compost supplies organic matter for the first weeks after emergence.
Perlite holds moisture and stretches watering intervals
The particles absorb up to 20 times their own weight in water and release it gradually back into the soil. Watering is needed far less often, which matters for the shallow trays used for microgreens that dry out quickly.
5 L pack sized for a home micro garden
The 1.2 kg bag is easy to carry and store on a balcony or in a pantry. The volume covers several pots of basil, parsley, rocket or radish grown in successive batches through the season.
