The RAIDER RD-HG28 hot air gun is a 2000 W mains-powered tool for stripping old paint and varnish, bending and shaping plastic, soldering, car trim repairs and thawing frozen pipes. Air flow and temperature are set in two stages, and the kit arrives in a carry case with three nozzles, a triangular scraper and a handle.
LCD display with colour readiness indicator
The LCD display on the RAIDER RD-HG28 glows green while you dial in the temperature and turns red once it is reached. You see the exact moment to start work instead of guessing whether the air is hot enough.
Two stages from 350 °C to 600 °C for different materials
Stage one delivers a gentler flow at 350 °C, suited to heat-shrink tubing and delicate plastics. Stage two reaches 600 °C and tackles layers of old paint and varnish on frames and furniture.
