The MAKITA DHG181ZK cordless heat gun runs on an 18V LXT battery and delivers up to 200 l/min of hot air for stripping paint and lacquer, shrinking cable sleeves, applying films and thawing pipes. Temperature is set on a 6-stage dial and airflow on a two-position switch. Supplied in a carry case with four nozzles; battery and charger sold separately.
Cordless freedom on any job site
The MAKITA DHG181ZK is powered by an 18V LXT battery, so hot air travels with you onto a roof, into a vehicle or into a room without power. No cord to run, no socket to find. At 0.7 kg bare, the heat gun stays comfortable in one hand.
Six-stage temperature dial for different materials
A dial on the MAKITA DHG181ZK sets the temperature in 50 °C steps up to 550 °C. Lower settings suit delicate films and window tint, while the top settings soften old paint and varnish before scraping.
Two airflow stages — 120 and 200 l/min
A slide switch picks the low flow for precise work on small details or the high flow when a larger surface needs heat. With a fully charged 6.0 Ah battery, the MAKITA DHG181ZK runs continuously for about 21 minutes on the high stage.
Four nozzles and carry case included
The MAKITA DHG181ZK case holds a glass protection nozzle, a wide-slot nozzle, a reflector nozzle and a 20 mm reduction nozzle. Nozzles swap with a quick twist, and the built-in job light illuminates the work spot in dim conditions.
Compatibility with Makita 18V LXT batteries
The MAKITA DHG181ZK belongs to the 18V LXT system and accepts batteries from 1.5 Ah to 6.0 Ah (plus 9 Ah and 12 Ah), including BL1830B, BL1850B and BL1860B. If you already own LXT tools, your existing batteries and charger fit straight on.
