GARDENA 07220-20 Brass Foot Valve 3/4" (26.5 mm)
Solid brass body with a stainless steel strainer for clean suction from tanks, wells and open water.
The GARDENA 07220-20 brass foot valve mounts at the end of a suction hose on a garden or domestic water pump and features a 26.5 mm (G 3/4") thread. It comes complete with strainer, valve ball and gasket in a solid brass housing.
Keeps the water column in the suction hose
The valve ball closes when the pump stops, so the liquid cannot flow back to the source. On the next start the pump primes straight away, without refilling the hose.
Fine-mesh stainless steel strainer
The braided mesh holds back grit, leaves and debris that could jam the valve open or reach the impeller. Stainless steel withstands permanent contact with water without corroding.
Vertical and horizontal installation
The valve operates in either position, so it can be lowered into a well or shaft as well as laid on the bottom of a shallow tank. The 26.5 mm (G 3/4") thread screws directly onto a suction hose or pipe of the same size.
