The GARDENA 07221-20 brass foot valve is a check valve with a 33.3 mm (G 1") thread for the suction side of a garden or deep-well pump. It comes complete with suction strainer, valve cone and seal, and can be installed either vertically or horizontally.
Brass body built for permanent installation in a well or tank
The valve body is machined from brass, a material that tolerates permanent contact with water in a well, shaft or tank. Inside, a valve cone and seal close the moment the pump stops, keeping water in the suction hose.
Fine-mesh stainless steel strainer stops debris at the intake
The braided intake screen is stainless steel and traps leaves, grit and silt before they reach the pump impeller. Nozzles and drip lines further down the line stay clear for longer.
Mount it vertically or horizontally
The valve functions in both orientations, which helps in narrow shafts and shallow water where the hose cannot run straight down. The 33.3 mm (G 1") thread screws directly onto a suction hose or matching suction fitting set.
