The HAIER ES15V-SQM1 electric water heater is a 15-litre above-sink model with a titanium-enamelled tank and a mechanical thermostat. The 1500 W element runs on single-phase 230 V power and the unit is rated energy class A. It mounts vertically on the wall and connects to 1/2" plumbing.
Titanium-enamelled tank with anode protection
The enamel lining and magnesium anode shield the tank walls from corrosion in hard water. A built-in anode tester shows when the protection is spent and the rod needs replacing, with no need to strip the unit down.
Steel and molybdenum heating element
The alloy-coated element stands up to limescale and to frequent heat-up and cool-down cycles. Haier rates its corrosion resistance at four times that of a standard element.
Above-sink mounting in a 36 cm body
Plumbing connections are arranged for a position above the basin, and the body measures 36 cm in both height and diameter. That footprint fits a kitchen corner or a cloakroom basin where a tall cylinder will not go.
Mechanical thermostat and energy class A
Temperature is set with a single rotary knob, with no electronics to configure. Declared annual energy consumption is 520 kWh, and the polyurethane insulation holds the heat between draw-offs.
