Heating elements never touch the water: no limescale build-up and replacement without draining the tank.
The ELDOM WVS08044FD Spectra Dry is a wall-mounted vertical electric water heater in the 80 L class with 77 L of usable capacity. Its tank is coated in zirconium enamel using SHIELD technology, while two 2x1200 W dry tube heating elements stay sealed away from the water. Control is mechanical, with an external capillary thermostat, a dual illuminated switch and a temperature indicator.
Dry tube heating elements for hard and soft water
Each element sits inside a slim metal tube enamelled together with the flange, fully separated from the water. No scale forms on the elements, and a replacement can be fitted without draining the tank.
Six-level protection and IP24 rating
Protection covers a patented round flange for overpressure, a capillary thermal cut-out, a combined metal valve acting as both check and safety valve, plus anti-freeze control that keeps the water above 5 °C. The IP24 rating suits installation in damp rooms such as bathrooms.
HFO Closed Cells insulation over 33 mm thick
This new-generation polyurethane system has a fine closed-cell structure that limits heat loss between heating cycles. Annual electricity consumption is 1412 kWh for load profile M.
Two magnesium anodes against corrosion
The cathodic anti-corrosion system covers the entire inner volume, while the SHIELD zirconium enamel is formulated for wear resistance. The enamelled tank keeps the water fit for sanitary and food use.
ECO mode at 60 °C and temperature indicator
The external capillary thermostat sets the target temperature, with the 60 °C position being the most economical setting. At maximum setting the water is heat-treated against bacteria, and the dual illuminated switch operates each element separately.
